Familiarity with basic yoga poses and a reasonable level of fitness are essential prerequisites for attending this training.  You do not need to be a yoga teacher, nor do you need to be an advanced yogi, but you do need to be passionate about teaching yoga to children and/or teens!

Do feel free to get in touch with any questions! This course may be totally suitable for you even if you don’t fulfill the exact prerequisites described. We are all magnificently unique :)

Should you be unwell prior to the course and unable to attend, your course fees will be refunded bar the deposit, which can be transferred to a future Yogi Kids 50hr training or any Yogi Kids Professional Development courses, in-person or online (coming soon!) 

You will receive a Yogi Kids Teacher Training certificate verifying that you have completed a 50-hour Yoga Teacher Training for Children to Teenagers. Along with the wealth of skills that you will have acquired, this certification is recognised as a high-quality training, facilitated by a Senior level 4 Yoga Teacher registered with our professional organization, Yoga New Zealand.

You will be able to teach in all sorts of settings, such as schools, early learning centres, yoga studios, gyms, at birthday parties and offer group classes or private family sessions. Your skills and enthusiasm will prove invaluable to the next generation!

If you are a member of Yoga New Zealand, (200hr Yoga Teacher Training required), this training will also provide CPD points, (Continuing Professional Development), fulfilling annual Yoga Continuing Education requirements.
